Sleep Dentistry
We know going to the dentist isn’t everyone’s idea of a good time. Infact, Dental Anxiety is a very real, very common problem.
Our priority is our patient’s comfort, which is why we offer IV sedation techniques to help you totally relax during your visit with us. Dental anxiety can cause patients to avoid going to the dentist, ultimately increasing their chances of developing severe problems with their teeth and gums. Sedation dentistry is a way to alleviate any nervousness and anxiety associated with visiting the dentist. It can help with any of the following:
- Needle Phobia
- Nervousness about needles coming near their teeth and gums
- Discomfort with the sounds and tastes associated with dental procedures
- Sensitive teeth and gums
- Extractions in particular multiple wisdom teeth
- Those who have very complex dental problems
We offer IV sedation to help you relax during treatment for more complex dental work and for patients who have a high level of anxiety. An Anesthetist will be present for procedures that use this technique and we carry the practise out to the highest standard. Our priority is always you.
If you’ve been experiencing high levels of anxiety about visiting the dentist and you believe a sedative technique could help alleviate your symptoms, don’t hesitate to get in touch.
