Dr Gustavo Vivaldi, Orthodontist

With a genuine passion for helping people feel confident in their smiles, Dr Gustavo Vivaldi brings over two decades of orthodontic experience to the team at Dural Dental Practice.

Originally from Brazil, Dr Vivaldi completed his Bachelor of Dental Surgery in 2001, followed by a Master’s in Orthodontics in 2004. He later deepened his expertise with advanced training at the University of Michigan, where he completed a Mini-Residency in Orthodontics. After establishing and running a successful practice in Brazil, Dr Vivaldi made the move to Sydney in 2013, where he continues to transform smiles for patients of all ages.

Dr Vivaldi has a special interest in clear aligner therapy and has been working with Invisalign® for over 17 years. Whether treating minor crowding or complex bite issues, he believes in combining science, technology and a personal approach to achieve results that are not only functional but truly life-changing.

Beyond the clinic, Dr Vivaldi is also the founder of The Ortho Partners — a national mentoring platform designed to support other dentists in mastering clear aligner techniques.

Kind, approachable and committed to excellence, Dr Vivaldi takes time to understand each patient’s goals and tailors every treatment plan to suit their needs.

When he’s not crafting smiles, you’ll likely find him spending time with his wife (and fellow dentist) Dr Patricia Vivaldi and their two children, Marina and Enrico — or in the kitchen perfecting his famous homemade pizza.
